Fluids & transfer
Fluid transfer pump
Refill a transmission or differential through a fill plug you cannot pour into.

Where to buy
02
Why you need it
- Most automatic transmissions have no dipstick now; fluid goes in through a side fill plug with the car level.
- Differentials and transfer cases are filled the same way, often with thick 75W-90 that will not gravity-feed.
- A hand pump screws onto the quart bottle and pushes fluid uphill through a hose.
03
What to look for
- Thread adapters for the common quart and gallon bottles.
- Hose long enough to reach from the ground to the fill plug (3 ft or more).
- For ATF, a dispensing extractor with a measured tank lets you put back exactly what you took out.

Oil extractor (vacuum pump)
Change oil through the dipstick tube with the car on the ground. No jack, no drain plug, no mess.
Oil change
Oil funnel
Pouring five quarts through a filler neck without one is how oil ends up on the exhaust manifold.
