Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling aftermarket Mopar Canvas Seat Covers for certain 2012-2016 RAM 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks. These Mopar canvas seat covers were sold through Chrysler dealerships beginning October 15, 2015. The seat covers can impede the deployment of the seat thorax airbags.

Fuel Tank Issue Description: Ram 1500 built between 7/1/16 and 8/15/16 with concern of "hard to fill" or "premature shut off", please remove the Canister line and Recirculation Line and retest. If the condition continues, tank replacement may be required. Please reference the proper diagnostic materials. Answers to the following questions can assist Engineering in their quality improvements: 1) At what level of fuel in the Tank does the Hard to Fill condition exist? 2) When did the customer start experiencing Hard to Fill condition? 3) Did the condition exist in a particular fuel station? If tank replacement is needed, please contact Sylvia Lopez at Cell (248) 520-9734 prior to replacing the Tank. She will help arrange shipment of the tank back to the Quality Engineering Center. If no response within 15 minutes proceed with repairs

Please email any audio recording or documentation of when/where/how the pump makes noise to the above emails. If the dealer is located in the Detroit Metro Area, Engineering may send a representative to review with technician. Any information is appreciated. If a response is not received within 15 mins , then proceed with the necessary repair. For JK and DS: Before replacing water pumps for noise issues the heat shield on the catalytic converter needs to be checked to make sure it is not the source of the noise. Check while the engine is fully warmed up. If the heat shield is found to be the source of the noise tighten the bolts and, or add shims/washers as needed.
