⚑ QUICK DIY TIPS FOR THE 2022 MAZDA CX-30
Torque your drain plug to 34 Nm (25 ft-lbs) to avoid leaks or stripped threads. Using the OEM filter (Mazda PE01-14-302A) is recommended for warranty compliance. Always use 0W-20 Full Synthetic as specified by Mazda — using the wrong viscosity can void your powertrain warranty. Check the maintenance schedule below for your next service interval. Some vehicles may have a "OW ENGINE OIL LEVEL" warning message and a CHECK ENGINE light illuminated in the instrument cluster with DTC P250F:00 stored in memory, and the oil level has actually decreased to near low. * DTC P250F:00 - Engine oil level signal: engine oil level low This is caused by an oil consumption increase due to damage of the valve seals on the exhaust side. To eliminate this concern, the design of these valve seals has been modified.

Some vehicles may exhibit accumulation of dried coolant (1) around the water pipe (2). This is caused by a gap between the housing and pipe due to a press fitting during the manufacturing process. The accumulated coolant is solidified and plugs the gap in high temperature environment and the seepage is stopped and does not progress. This is normal and does not require a part replacement, clean off the dried coolant from around the pipe with a wire brush.

Some customers may complain the A/C blows warm. This may be caused by one of two things. Cause 1: After accelerating in hot weather, the A/C blows warm air for a longer time than other models. This is caused by improper control software of the PCM not allowing the A/C compressor to resume properly after acceleration. During a hard acceleration above a certain throttle level opening, the PCM stops the A/C compressor operation for better acceleration. It then resumes the compressor operation after the acceleration. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the PCM has been modified. Cause 2: Insufficient cooling performance at ambient temperature of around 68 ðF (20 ðC) in daytime. This is caused when both the ambient temperature and the cabin temperature are at around 20 ðC (68 ðF), auto A/C set at around 20 ðC (68 ðF) may not cool down the cabin temperature properly. To eliminate this concern, control software of the dash-electrical supply unit (Dash-ESU) has been modified.
